Catholic Schools Week Comes to a Close

Thank you to the many families who contributed to yesterday's Faculty Feast. Our teachers and staff are so very grateful for your generosity and thoughtfulness. If you'd like to be included in the raffle for FREE CAMP TUITION for one child, please submit your registration for this year's action-packed Crusader Camps today by 3:00pm in the school office. Two lucky families will win! Today is a Green and Gold dress-down day. Students will be treated to a pep rally today, so be sure to send them to school wearing their best Crusader colors. Be sure to send your dads and daugthers to the gym tonight at 5:30pm for the annual Father Daughter Dance.

4th grade will not need lunch Thursday, March 8th- field trip.

7th and 8th grade will not need lunch Wednesday, March 28th- field trip.

A few reminders

Today, Wednesday, Feb 1st, is a box top/dress down day and 1:45 dismissal. Students will be treated to a sneak peak of the school's talent show, Crusaders Tonight, during their flex period. We invite all families to the evening performance at 7pm in the gym.

Tomorrow, Thursday, Feb 2nd is a "crazy accessories" day. Students are invited to embellish their uniforms with fun socks, ties, costume jewelry or other silly accessories. Be creative! Finally, a big thank you to all who have volunteered to provide a meal to a teacher as part of Thursday's Faculty Feast!

Catholic Schools Week Crusader Camp Raffle

Crusader Camp Raffle:

In honor of Catholic Schools Week, we will be holding a special raffle for all St. Francis families.  If you plan to register your child/children for any of our summer camp programs, you’ll want to be included in this! 

All families who have submitted camp registration forms by Friday, February 3, 2012 at 3 p.m. will be entered into the drawing.  Two lucky families will be selected and will receive free camp tuition for ONE CHILD.  If you’d like to be included, please be sure to submit your camp registration form and registration fee to the school office by 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3.  Good luck! 

Catholic Schools Week Family Projects:

Please be sure to send your family heart project to school by Monday, January 30.  The projects were sent home this week with the oldest or only child in each family.  If you did not receive a heart, please stop by and pick one up in the school office.  Work together as a family this weekend to decorate your heart to represent your family.  All heart projects will be displayed outside of the Xavier Room throughout Catholic Schools Week to showcase and celebrate our fabulous St. Francis families!   Our goal is to have every SFX family represented!

Forms Due in the School Office Today

Have an act for the talent show next week? Don't forget that forms are due today by 3:15pm in the school office. Break a leg!

RSVPs for "Pastry with Parents" (Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 30th and 31st) are also due in the office today. Alternately, you can email colleenbarrett@sfx-school.org with your RSVP.

 

Homemade Pizza Night a Success

Thanks to all SFX families who picked up a pizza from Homemade Pizza Co Wednesday evening. Because of your participation, we raised $1,100 for the HSO. We hope to schedule another Homemade Pizza night later in the school year... so stay tuned, and be sure to thank them with your patronage! Thank you to Rebecca Stewart for identifying and spearheading this easy way to raise money for our school.

Trevian Travel Softball
