To show our grandparents how much we love them, we made unique picture frames! We used paints of all colors to decorate a small wooden block. The attached paper clips will perfectly display a picture of our Junior Kindergarteners with their lovable grandparents!
Some projects were still drying at the end of the day on Friday. If your child did not bring his or hers home this weekend, please look for it in the green bag next week!
Our Junior Kindergarten is always looking for ways to stay green while updating our supplies for crafts
and activities. We are happy to collect your junk! Here are some items we are looking for:
- used toilet paper and paper towel rolls
- egg cartons
- old magazines (Miss Laird enjoys reading In Style)
- note pads and post-its
Also, please remember that SFX has a large dumpster in our parking lot for your old paper. Our school earns money for every ton of paper we bring in. Please remember us while you're recycling!
Junior Kindergarten will have its first Show and Tell this Friday. This week, we are discussing Little Red Riding Hood and our grandparents. Please help your child choose an item to show to the class that goes along with either theme.
We're looking forward to hearing the stories and seeing the items that our class has to share!
