7th and 8th Grades: Save the Date

7th and 8th grade students will be attending a morning showing of the Chicago Shakespeare Theater's The Taming of the Shrew on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. We will also eat lunch there. Students will be gone for the entire day, but will return in time for dismissal. Please plan accordingly.

Thursday, November 10:

• Regular schedule. Please remember there is no flex for middle school on Thursdays.
• Parent Conference Sign-Up from 6:45 to 8:30 a.m. in the Xavier Room North. If you cannot sign up in person, you can call the office after 8:30 a.m. Conferences will be held on Monday, November 21, and Tuesday, November 22, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. School will be dismissed at noon on both of those days.

Friday, November 11:

• Crusader Covenant assembly during flex period.

8K/8McD: Explorer Test

The 8th grade will be testing in the Xavier Room on Thursday and Friday. Here is the schedule for the Explorer test this week:

Thursday, November 3:

• 9:00 to 9:40 a.m. Student information form and survey. Students only need a sharpened pencil.

Friday, November 4:

• 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. Testing. Students need a pencil, a book, and a scientific calculator.

The remainder of the days will be on the usual schedule. Students should still report to their homeroom at 8:00 a.m.

The Explorer test is given to every 8th grade student in the Archdiocese and it does not affect their grades.
