Lenten Invitation

All SFX parents are invited to participate in Lenten prayer, reflection and discussion immediately following 8:15am mass this Friday, March 2nd. A group will be meeting in the Xavier Room from 9-10am. All are welcome!

Rummage Update

Don't forget! Drop off dates for rummage donations are this Saturday and Sunday froom 12-4pm.  We are also in need of shopping bags to use on sale days, so bring in any bags you may have around the house as well.

Volunteers continue to be needed to fill many slots! Please lend a hand by donating a few hours of your time. You can sign up online by following this link: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0A44A5AC29A57-sfxspring.

While volunteers are welcome at any and all times, the following slots have been "reserved" by grade for those who would enjoy signing up to work with other parents from their children's grade(s). New SFX mom Stacey Blasko (stacey.blasko@gmail.com) has been kind enough to volunteer her time and talents chairing this important event for our school - please show her your support by pitching in and lending a hand!  A few hours is all it takes:

8th grade - Sunday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 7

7th grade - Tuesday, March 6 evening, Saturday, March 10 clean up (confirmation service hours opportunities at parcel check & clean up)

6th grade - Saturday, March 3 and Monday, March 5 evening 

5th & 4th grades - Monday, March 5 morning & Saturday, March 10 Sale shifts

3rd grade - Saturday, March 3 & Tuesday, March 6 morning

2nd grade - Sunday, March 4 and Tuesday March 6 morning

1st grade - Wednesday, March 7 and Saturday, March 10 Sale shifts

Preschool/Jr. Kindergarten/Kindergarten - Monday, March 5 & Tuesday March 6 afternoon shifts (Babysitting available) and Sunday, March 4

"Crusader Cuisine" After School Class

The Crusader Cuisine after school class WILL MEET next Monday, March 5th as a make up for missing class on President's Day. All other after school classes will not meet that week due to rummage.

Big Shots Golf Prep Forms Due this Friday!

Hello everyone!

If your 6th-8th grade son or daughter plans to participate in this year's Big Shots Golf Prep Program, please download the attached forms and turn them into Colleen Orth's mailbox in the school office.

All forms are due this Friday, March 2nd.

The fee for the program is $350 and all checks can be made out to "Big Shots Golf Prep".

8th Grade Boy's and Girl's Basketball Play-offs This Week!

Attention Crusaders!

This week is the beginning of play-offs for the 8th grade boy's and girl's basketball teams. Now is the time to come out and show your support for our 8th graders! 

The schedule for play-offs is as follows:

8th grade boys will play:

• Tuesday, February 28th at OLPH school vs. Faith Hope and Charity- 6:30pm
• If they win Tuesday, they will play Wednesday, February 29th at St. Catherine School- 6:30pm
• If they win Wednesday, they will play Friday, March 2nd at Loyola Academy for the Championship at 8:00pm.

8th grade girls will play:

• Tuesday, February 28th at Faith Hope and Charity-6:00pm
• If they win Tuesday, they will play Thursday, March 1st at Regina for the Championship at 6:30pm

We hope to see you all there in your green and gold spirit wear! Be sure to check the NewsBlast this week for updates on our basketball teams.

Mystery Dads

Thank you to our President's Day "Mystery Dads" for taking the time to brighten our lunch hour this month. We are happy to report that our students were very well behaved and no one was taken in by the secret service detail.
