To families, new and "old" to SFX this year...We hope all of you had a wonderful summer with your families!
Showcase St. Francis, 2009 is the 18th annual benefit for SFX School. It is going to be held at SFX on Saturday, October 3rd - an adults-only evening to raise funds for important SFX School initiatives (outside the school budget). But as we are raising funds, we make sure we all have a blast at this event each year!
This year's theme is "Home For The 100th," in honor of the 100 years that SFX School has been "open."
Each year, we welcome any/all items that SFX School friends/families may want to donate to our Live and Silent Auctions. Do you have access to Chicago sports tickets? Do you have a favorite restaurant that might donate dinner for four? Is there an electronic gadget that you think you'd like to donate, in hopes that it would generate big funds for SFX? Just plain cash is great, too, as we put special auction packages together.
All donations will be most gratefully accepted thru Sunday, August 30th. We mailed out an official Showcase 2009 Donation Form...but if you are willing to make a donation, you can just skip that, and send an e-mail to Diane O'Brien at obriendiane@comcast.net. Just let her know what you would like to donate, with the item's value, and she will take it from there.
Thank you to everyone who has been so incredibly generous already! We can tell that this is going to be a Showcase fit for a 100th Anniversary celebration...because of all of you.
