Thank you to all who are working on Showcase Committees! If you are purchasing anything on behalf of Showcase and the HSO, please be sure you are using the SFX School Tax-Exempt Form. If you don’t have a copy, call Katie (847) 256-6019. We have to save these huge tax expenses for SFX!
Also, FYI, please note these CHANGES IN THE AUCTION THIS YEAR:
1) The Silent Auction will open in the Gym at 5:30PM. It will close, in three stages:
GREEN SECTION - 7:30PM
WHITE SECTION - 7:40PM
GOLD SECTION - 7:50PM
These times are approximate, at the Auctioneer's discretion.
As we all go into the tent for Dinner, the only Silent Auction areas still open will be the Sign Up Parties, the two 100th Anniversary Items for sale and the Golf Dutch Auction.
Starting at 10:15PM and ending at Midnight, the Casino will be open, the DJ and Dance Floor will kick into gear, and those who wish to Check Out will be able to do so in the Foyer.
2) At Check Out, guests will present their Bid Number and we will present you with a white numbered bag with your purchased items and a Tentative Receipt in it.
a) If you have given us Express Check Out information, you will be free to leave with your purchases.
b) If you are doing Regular Check Out, we will welcome your payment, in the form of cash, check, VISA or MasterCard, as you leave with your purchases.
Again, the receipts you receive at Check Out will be Tentative Receipts. The Sign Up Parties, the 100th Anniversary Items and the Golf Dutch Auction will close at Midnight; we will add any additional purchases to your total and send all Showcase Guests a Final Receipt, with a Tax Form, promptly after Showcase is over.
All of your purchased items must be removed from SFX by the end of the evening. Call Diane O'Brien (847) 256-1435 if you have any questions.
