Rich Majcin:
He served for 35 years as the SFX Vice-Principal, Athletic Director, Gym and Algebra teacher, while coaching at Regina Dominican and dutifully volunteering as an SFX School Parent with his wife Gerri. Rich was one of the first Math teachers in the Archdiocese of Chicago to see the need for, then start an Algebra program in Junior High (this is now mandated in all Archdiocesan schools.) He retired to Minnesota in 2004. In 2008, he was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame, for collecting more than 500 victories as head basketball, volleyball and softball coach at Regina.
NOW, he’s coming back to Wilmette, to attend Showcase and play hoops with old friends the next day at SFX!
